Miley Concert....one more thing....

oh, I thought I would share the pic we captured when they both found out we were going....

Miley Concert....

...okay, so hopeTATTOO did not win during the high level negotiations I had with my daughter on what to wear to her first 'big girl' concert. Instead, once again, she really wanted to wear the rodeoDRIVE dress with theMARMONT pants.....it was a good choice and it did coordinate with her bestest friend who happened to be wearing hollywoodBLVD. Given the concert, these ended up being fantastic choices. Although Miley's choice of clothing and dancing style provided the need for conversation around 'what is appropriate for teenagers to be wearing and doing', we had a fantastic time. It really demystified the entire 'famous - rock star' thing.....it is all about the journey.....what a great experience for us to share.

Miley Cyrus Concert....

I am thinking this is the winning design for the Miley Cyrus concert tonight. My daughter has no idea she is going and she has no idea that she actually gets to MEET Miley. I will post some updates after her big night tonight.........she is going to flip!!

Consumer Product Safety - We are good!!

As you may or may not know, there has been a lot of buzz around children's products and the lead content associated with them ever since we had the big scare. I too was one of those moms who purchased lead testing kits, tested toys and threw away any toy that remotely looked like on on 'the list'.

Anyway, many of us small business have been operating with a fear that we might have to shut down once the full impact of the 2008 CPSIA went into effect. Think Spring!!!

Sounds so crazy I know but we are busy working in the studio on Spring designs! It is really hard to fit in right now and quite honestly it is tough when you wake up and see frost on the ground :-) However, we will be releasing new Spring designs as they are complete.....keep your eyes open.

In the meantime, be sure to make your purchases for any holiday designs you are wanting. We will be closing out several of these fabric combinations as we run out of fabric. We already have several items 'out of stock' and with the current order volume, there will be more to come.

We have several more designs being released over the next couple of days so keep your eyes on the blog and 'girlwear' section of our site. All designs typically take approximately 2-3 weeks to ship and with our current volume of orders, it is taking 3-4 weeks for some designs. Please keep this in mind when order for that special event.
