Introducing Organics!!

Keep your eyes open for organic babyWEAR this Fall. We we will be introducing a few organic pieces to our babyWEAR collection with the release of our Fall and Winter designs. We are expanding the collections each season based on customer feedback and many of you have asked for organic pieces for your itty bitty ones.....especially for those onezies ('onesies' has actually been trademarked so we are staying away from that one) that are oh-so-close to their little precious bodies.

We will be keeping you posted on all the great new products coming in August!

We are booking Fall trunkSHOWS now....I know this is crazy to believe and hard to grasp given that you most likely spent the day at the pool today or are about to this weekend. However, Fall is just around the corner and if you want to have your deliciousDESIGNS before the colder weather is upon us, now is the time to book your show.

If you are interested in booking a trunkSHOW in your home or are interested in attending one that is already scheduled, please email info@mydeliciousdesigns.com and we will make it happen! We have great hostess perks and most importantly, it is a great reason to have a 'mom's night out'.

I love it so much that it is part of our hostFASHIONISTA Program for hosting a trunk show ~ it makes a great trunkSHOW hostess gift!

The other book of Nina Garcia's that has made it into the deliciousDESIGNS studio is ~The One Hundred - A guide to the pieces every stylish woman must own ~ If you take one thing from these books, it is to spend more money on fewer GREAT pieces instead of spending money on a closet full of clothes you buy at the same place you buy your groceries....all you mom's out there know what I mean :-)

melroseAVE.....fabric change!

melroseAVE has been unbelievably popular this summer and has 'sold out' in the current fabric selection. We just received the new version earlier this week and it was part of the photo shoot yesterday. We will have the new and improved melroseAVE available online very soon! The product picture on mydeliciousdesigns.com does not do it justice...here is a random pic until the new ones are released.......

We did it!!!

The photo shoot at hether miles photography today was fantastic! We were able to showcase 12 of the girlWEAR designs and hopefully next time we can get some of the boyWEAR in there too. We had five gorgeous models and they all did such a great job. I should have the pictures in about two weeks and I will work day and night to get the website updated.

In the meantime, I thought I would share a photo shoot with Jenn Foley a.k.a 'The Watson's Girl".....she had both her gorgeous girls in deliciousDESIGNS in the June issue of Indianapolis Monthly.

dD photo shoot anxiety....

Wish us luck! Tomorrow is the big day and there is a little anxiety around making sure all goes as planned. Along with the anxiety comes great excitement....I can not wait to release both new and old designs with beautiful little kids in them. I have been told a million times how people can not believe how cute the designs are on children vs. a hanger.....can't wait for your feedback. I will keep you all posted on how tomorrow goes.

I have been frantically getting ready for the big dD photo shoot with my favorite photographer ~ hether miles ~ and thought I would post a pic of my littlest one in theMARMONT pants at a birthday party over the weekend. This will have to do until I can get the professional shots posted. This pic was taken after she had fun playing in the rain and soon to follow....MUD!

Keep checking the dD site the first week of August as you will start to see all kinds of new products and changes to the look and feel......exciting stuff!

Fun at 'the creamery'....

Here is a picture of my girls with their friends at the creamery. My oldest is wearing 'farmersMARKET' and my little one is wearing an off version of 'melroseAVE' for those of you that follow dD design names. We had a total of six girls ranging in age from two to seven....what a great group of girls. If they only knew how lucky they were to spend their days with their mommies and their friends doing fun stuff like this. Hope you all had a great summer day.....I am off to work on my upcoming deliciousDESIGNS photo shoot. Can't wait to show you all the new fall and winter designs!!!

Exciting things happening at dD!

I can not believe it is July and I am just now blogging again....it has been over eight weeks! While it may appear as though nothing has been going on, it has been quite the opposite. I have been so focused on Fall and Winter designs ~ can not wait to release pics to all of you ~ they are over the top fun!!! Anyway, in addition to focusing on the seasons that are oh so around the corner (hard to believe I know), I have assumed all of dD. My partner Sarah has decided to focus on family fun right now as well as other exciting things that are going on in her life. With that said, I am missing her in more ways than one......she did so much for dD and I am wrapping my arms around it all right now.
Keep your eyes open for all kinds of activity from this point forward. I will do a much better job blogging to keep you up on all that is going on.
