Rachel Griffiths - November Cookie Magazine!

For all the mommies out there - please read the above article that features Rachel Griffiths. I would argue that most of us need to be a little more like her.....okay, I know I do :-) Okay, so she has a beautiful home, gorgeous (extremely well dress I might add) kiddos and is drop dead beautiful her self but it is not that which we should strive to be more like. Instead, I loved the part where her son cuts a hole in his bedroom curtain so he can watch people coming up the front steps and she says "brilliant" - all curtains should have peepholes. There is nothing better than that attitude as a mother.

We all strive to be the 'best' mommy and sometimes we get stuck doing all the stuff that keep us from being the 'best' mommy. Relax, do less, keep it simple and most importantly.....let's not take ourselves so darn seriously. Much love to all the mommies out there!

Catching Up....

So sorry for being behind on blog activity. My family and I spent some time in the Smoky Mountains with another family ~ great fun! In addition to taking a couple of days away from reality, deliciousDESIGNS has been experiencing a very busy Fall season. We are shipping out several more of the birthdayTUTU sets today as well as several funkyHOLIDAYZ designs for holiday pictures....in addition to all the 'random' orders. Therefore, both items are temporarily out of stock until we have a fabric change. We will keep the style but will be updating the fabrics. Knoll/RJE (621 E Ohio St - downtown Indianapolis) is hosting an artisan fair that raises money for The Little Red Door Cancer Agency on Thursday, October 8th from 5 - 8pm. I will be there with the deliciousDESIGNS collections for you to place orders. There will be all kinds of things for you to purchase like jewelry, note cards, custom hand bags, photography, ceramics, artwork, cookbooks, kids wear, and a fun silent auction.
